New Hard Mode/EV Normal
Over the past few weeks I've noticed numerous people hitting 50 and a large amount looking to Hard Mode(EV and KP) with us on the weekend.. As the numbers grow we have large groups of people able to participate in (both gear and skill wise). On the other side I see numers people willing to participate in these weekend runs but unable to due to gear or skill.
So far we have been running 8 man HM Ops and I see no reason we can't get our 16 up and running given we get our people geared. My proposal is that we get those interested and in need of gear start hitting these HM's and EV normals up...
I feel I'm somewhat geared up enough (whether for heals or DPS) along with having a well geared Tank (Hloki), we're going to be running Normal EV runs on either a Friday night (After 11pm Eastern/8pm Pacific) or Saturday morning/afternoon (given this doesn't interfere with any MC events personal life things, and/or HM EV/KP runs which have been preplanned by Prince for Sat and Sun at 7 Eastern)....
For EV normal it would be preferred to have 1 tank, 2 healers, and 5 DPS. As stated above I myself as a Sage Healer can respec to DPS and have the gear to do so. If needed you may need to respec to the specific class were looking for to fill at the specific time.
As for gear wise, what I'm looking for you to have is at least Orange gear with lvl 50 item modifications, equivalent (Champion PvP gear) , or better. Getting these items/mods are not too difficult. Running certain Daily Quests on Illum and Balsaviss gives you one of each of these item modifications along with Daily Commendation (You also end up buying Rakata ear and implants with these Commendations). You should be trying to be running these every day...
On top of the Normal EV run Hloki, Julian and I normally run 1-3 HM's a night. Given Taral V is always one of those due to us knowing how to Speed Run it. But we always have a spot open for a DPS or Healer to throw in there... This I'm trying to push for those who can't run the Normal EV on Friday or Saturday with us.
Again remember this 8 Ops group setup I'm trying to do for those desperately in need of gear, but I also will be looking for help from those already geared and willing to help.
All in all point of this long and tedious read is I'm looking to not only gear people out, but work on helping you learn your char/raiding tactics, and getting us as a guild so group bigger to start working on 16 man ops and Nightmare Modes...
