  2. So with the continued conversations and understanding of the functions of the Tavern and Dining Hall: Magical Enchanter Smithy Garden (Druid Grove) Baths Chapel Stables Theater
  3. Today
  4. Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable! To you we give praise! We are but maggots, writhing in the filth of our own corruption! While you have ascended from the dung of mortality, and now walk among the stars! But you were once man! Aye! And as man, you said, "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North, where my breath is long winter. I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you." Aye, love. Love! Even as man, great Talos cherished us. For he saw in us, in each of us, the future of Skyrim! The future of Tamriel! And there it is, friends! The ugly truth! We are the children of man! Talos is the true god of man! Ascended from flesh, to rule the realm of spirit! The very idea is inconceivable to our Elven overlords! Sharing the heavens with us? With man? Ha! They can barely tolerate our presence on earth! Today, they take away your faith. But what of tomorrow? What then? Do the elves take your homes? Your businesses? Your children? Your very lives? And what does the Empire do? Nothing! Nay, worse than nothing! The Imperial machine enforces the will of the Thalmor! Against its own people! So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, Stormcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine! For we are the children of man! And we shall inherit both the heavens and the earth! And we, not the Elves or their toadies, will rule Skyrim! Forever! Terrible and powerful Talos! We, your unworthy servants, give praise! For only through your grace and benevolence may we truly reach enlightenment! And deserve our praise you do, for we are one! Ere you ascended and the Eight became Nine, you walked among us, great Talos, not as god, but as man! Trust in me, Whiterun! Trust in Heimskr! For I am the chosen of Talos! I alone have been anointed by the Ninth to spread his holy word!
  5. It is in fact a room. It is an 'alternate build' of the Battle Ring. And the Chapel should be fine as a multipurpose, perhaps little areas with shrines to different gods. I don't forsee a lot of friction between the parties gods.
  6. That's not a room, but you can do that outside in a dirt circle and it will be almost equally effective. It's something to be added as one of the first additional rooms once we have the funding, I think. Is the chapel a multipurpose building for whatever our religious compatriots desire, or do we need to worry about separate structures for each deity?
  7. i personally dont do any woodworking but i had a custom build dog kennel built for my gsd ( name: baby) and its 4 feet in length and 4 feet tall so i can get in there and snuggle her up cause she loves mom snuggles! :3 and i felt bad cause she was in a wire crate before ( only when we leave the house so she doesnt get into things) she loves it, anyway i had a friend i met on league make it, cost me 1k usd which is pretty darn cheap considering the quality, def a great putchase for my baby :3 woodworking is such an awesome hobby, you can make tons of cool stuff! good on you!
  8. If you think that will be a better choice, I support it. 51% of player characters that are active. I believe that would require 10 people to agree.
  9. Yesterday
  10. As a human bundle of sticks, I approve.
  11. Personally, I would replace the Dining Hall with a Library. The biggest issue with how this game is ran, is set amounts of time. Sure the Dining hall randomly gives out inspiration to people who are present at the once a week banquet. Perhaps in the future, but honestly I see it as being too RNG to be of any real use to a group of ~20 players.
  12. I think we are very close to a consensus on the initial build of our Campus (College or large school in the Fortresses, Temples, and Strongholds book). As @MadCast: Chibiushihas complied are good choices that should be agreeable by everyone. I guess we could be democratic and vote for this as the final. I propose that if greater than %50 of players agree we can start construction.
  13. We can have any and all rooms that we'd like... at a cost. What we should do right now is figure out which of all of the rooms to use for those first rooms. 6 room points is going to fill up quickly, even doing 1 room point rooms for maximum utilization is only 7 (including the theater) rooms to start. Also the core building is going to be at no cost but we do need to buy any and all rooms and additional room points so while we have 8000 from donations to be able to fully use the 6 room points we will need a minimum of 15k or 7000 more than has been donated. Our 'Campus' is a modified 'College or large school' - A center of scholarly learning, concerned with a particular vocation, magical practice or bardic tradition. Contains lavish private quarters for up to 10 instructors and communal, if not entirely stark, living for up to 90 students. Comes with a free theater that costs neither room points nor gold. We just split the difference on the living quarters and instead of 100 mismatched rooms we are going to have 50 decent rooms. All of this in consideration I think that something like Tavern Smithy Garden (Druid Grove) Dinning Hall Chapel Stables Theater Feels like it ticks a lot of the boxes for everyone. Remember we were fortunate to have Trithemius find us a great parcel of lake front land not far from Moda Curas. We will be able to have docks and air docks and black jack and hookers or whatever else anyone could want and we can do it as a company, off the top of the cut or continue on a donation basis or even solo commissions would totally be possible. Plus we have a dedicated team of DM's and even if there is something that isn't explicitly contained in these 'Fortresses, Temples & Strongholds' books, or if you'd like to see about adapting something from another system of headquarters such as Franchise from Acquisitions Incorporated. We can be as basic 'this is the new screen we sit at between sessions that replaced the camp' or as ambitious as we'd like.
  14. @MadCast: Munsa "And so without even getting the chance to tell you his cool backstory Interlopers Inc. has slain the [REDACTED]"
  15. MadCast: Epic

Never have I ever been so impressed.
  16. MadCast: Ascent

In elementary school I made a miniature teepee once with twigs it looked like this
  17. Indeed I have made a few things but nothing fancy or what I would even really call good but I enjoyed making them so that's good enough for me. I can link a few pictures of the final results of my ventures in woodworking thus far. Go easy on me though as I'm an amateur. Here are some pics of my arcade that I build and the original thread I posted it in. and here is the spice rack that I made and later sold to a co-worker Lets see some of what you have done. Always love seeing hobby projects as well.
  18. exciting look forward to it! i missed the last one 😛
  19. what about board games 😮 like online ones like life and mono-oly uno? etc
  20. It's here once again! MadCast Town Hall will be held Monday, March 2nd, starting at 9pm EST. Expect to hear about several exciting upcoming events this time around. As per usual, the RFMs, SFMs, and Staff will be on hand to discuss current topics. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
  21. I feel the same way. The only issue is that Series 1 is champion specific, while the ones available for BE are super generic.
  22. While that is correct, we are not getting a Guildhall or Lodge. We are getting a College or Large School, for free. Which gets a free Theater, not a dining hall.
  23. Under Guildhall or Lodge it says "and a free dining hall that costs neither room points nor gold." Sounds correct to me. I quite like the Illusory Shroud. 2,500 GP 15 Days Your structure is under the unending effects of a hallucinatory terrain spell, the details of which you have determine when you first build this room. If you choose, this spell may also affect the area around your structure in a distance of up to 300 feet in all directions. At any time, the owner of this structure or an ally that they designate may change the nature of this illusion by entering the room and using an action to do so, determining whatever new attributes of the illusion apply. The illusion may be temporarily disabled with such an action, as well, or re-enabled with a similar action at a later time.

  26. It has come to my attention that a few members would like to see a retro game night. Please post here with your interest and any games you would like to see (even if already posted to get popularity).
