Saburu moved back to the main hall, moving between the pillars and on ward to the mess hall to where his meal should be waiting. Just outside the room, the hairs on his neck rose slightly. Once again he was absorbed with the felling he and the Sylvari were not alone. Pausing for a second to look over his shoulder, he gave a snort and continued into the room. There he found the smiling Jasmine standing by the table with a plate of meat and a fresh loaf of bread.
“Here you go Mr Urufu!”, she sang
Saburu Urufu was finishing his supper as Jasmine reentered the room. She seemed very happy with her good deed of protecting the keep as she was charged with.
“The Whisper guy stumbled away Mr Urufu!” She beemed. “Is there anything else you require?”
“No little flower, you have done plenty tonight. I am sure its near the hour of marring. After a long hike in and a fine meal, its time for sleep.”
“Shall I assist you to your quarters?”
“That wont be necessary. I am sure I can find my way there.
I know no one uses the blogs anymore, but I really just want to talk about food. It wasn't quite right for the MadCast Cookbook thread, and making a whole new thread about me seemed sort of redundant... SO BLOGS IT IS!
I have a few kitchen goals:
1. Reduce the grocery budget.
2. Build a solid collection of recipes we like.
3. Find ways to do more prep/cooking ahead of time (because more gaming after work).
April Goals Status:
1. Grocery spending down 40% from March.
2. A handful of awesom
This is just going to be a quick thought and I'll likely expand on the subject later on.
Going on tilt, I hear this phrase said a lot but I find that many of the same people who use this phrase don't understand what it actually means. Most people who play competitive games have heard of going on tilt and only attribute the meaning to its negative aspect. IE: "That guy is on tilt" means the same to most as "That guy is playing poorly", but that is not always the case. Going on tilt can as big a
(Disclaimer: Art is not drawn by me. All characters are created and roleplayed by only me.)
Hello and greetings reader,
For every character that I have ever played, there was a reason to play them. Gaining an achievement, exploring the world, and obtaining phat loots for my questing pleasure. But what is it that makes the character so special that you create them in the first place? Is it just the need to have a 'toon' to go through the game? Or is it something more... something that drives yo
I feel like making posts like these once in a while...cause im a sucker for cheesy/happy/w.e love songs...and i have this one stuck in my head now:
This is from an album that was a collaboration between 40mP (a vocaloP), and a niconico singer (Chano). What's even cuter is that they are actually married
So...fellow reader...you may or may not have noticed that I basically stopped making blog posts like almost a month ago XD. The truth is that I kinda got lazy...and the thought of wanting to post something more substantial than just cute pictures made my creative juices run dry... -_-'
Well...since I'm now back in school, I guess I have a bit more that I can post about.
Thanks to a program offered at my university, I had the opportunity to work an engineering job for 16 months between my 3rd a
It's rather unhealthy to be honest.
Season 2 actually arrived just a week ago. =D
Seriously though, this is not your typical Crime/Drama series. When I first saw the promotional for it when it first aired on TV, I was just like "lol oh look another CSI NY." Boy was I wrong. I watched a few clips of it on Youtube and that was enough to prompt me to get the entire first season. Went on a marathon and I was very pleased. Hooked all the way until the end.
The show involves Christopher Nolan's b
Well, here we are. Week 1 of official team play for the League of Extraordinary Dongers.
I'm very optimistic about the outcomes of this week's matches. Most of all, I am anticipating Team C's success in their first provisional matches.
The past couple weeks have been a build up for something I'm praying will be successful. Competitive teams have had a spotty history in MadCast; one thing I wish to avoid above anything else is for these teams to lose sight of the community that keeps them toget
Ever wonder what goes on inside the mind of Cinchil? No? Good, you'd probably get lost in there anyway, I know I do. As a general rule I try not to stay in my own head for very long, there are a lot of closets chalk full of creepy skeletons just waiting to scare the ever-living crap out of me. When I do make trips into the nether regions of my own persona I tend to come out with hints for how I can take over the world or create a special light on a car that signals a U-turn. On rare occasions th
The dongers have been raised. And so has their torch bearers.
The ranked team on MadCast that had to be is being born. It's infancy begins today with a flood of interest that should continue to grow. I can only hope that with this interest springs forth a consistently positive influence on the state of the Rift. Toxic behavior infects it like a malignant cancer, spreading unceremoniously into every pore of existence.
But this league of extraordinary people will reverse this curse. We raise our
The start to my Thursday was unfortunate, to say the least. Having stayed up until 5:00 AM (because stupid), I got up at 6:00 AM and went to catch the bus so I could get to work early. For some reason SEPTA adjusted the bus route for the day but did not post any signs. I stood outside for 30 minutes before I finally caught a bus, and arrived to the office too late to do anything except set my things down and run to meet contractors coming in with a shipment of furtniture. I spent the day labelin
One of our wonderful RFMs, Yordlebob, is a coach in our new MadCast Coaching program. Thus far, it is mainly for coaching League of Legends summoners, however, I hope to see coaching done in many other games in the future. If you wish to learn, please give these guys pupils to teach. They have a vast store of knowledge, and it not only helps you learn, but reminds them of builds, strategies, and laning techniques. It is a benefit to everyone involved!
Anyways, I had him mainly coach me in two a
Yay, another cute art post! I don't know how many of you actually enjoy this...but personally these pictures make me feel all happy and fuzzy inside and help brighten up the day :3 And they also make me wish I had some form of artistic talent T_T
As a bit of foreshadowing...I'll be making a different post this weekend. Could be anything from a wall of text to some of my recent exploits in games that I play solo.
Aaaaaand now here's a picture of Tessa from Full Metal Panic:
And a special fea
This time, I want to talk about something we all hate with such passion that it inspires us to such hurtful and negative emotions that many of us choose to ignore it all together. We as people are known to lash out, pity ourselves, overreact, and worst of all deny it.If you read the title then you already know I am talking about failure. Our mistakes can ruin our day or simply not effect us, be demoralizing or educational, rage-inducing or take the form of a reality check, all depending upon how
Well my internet is being lame and i dont have time to make a longer and more useful post, so more art it is!
And here is Chitanda Eru from Hyouka:
honestly, among the things i will never forget from Hyouka, Chitanda-san's eyes are near the top of the list...those eyes @_@ ...if you watch the show (you should!), you will understand what i mean.

So, I've been dwelling on this quite a lot lately and I've finally decided to put my thoughts down in some coherent form. I plan on doing a few on this subject but I want to start off with my story so that anyone who reads these knows where I came from and what led to this.
I have found in my time here that I have a considerable amount of growing to do. I need to grow as an admin, a member, a role-model, and as a person. I know a few people that would disagree with this but I believe that as a
Miku's V3 English voicebank is going to be released very soon (Aug 31)...and here's the release art @_@:
From what ive heard so far from demos, the english voicebank is very clear and good quality, but because the voice provider is japanese, there is a very strong accent in there XD. Im excited to see if producers will be able to tune her well enough to make the accent less prevalent (which would make her sound a lot better).
Heimerdinger might be powerful, but he is certainly not invincible.
But remember; every champion has dark days...that only makes the light that much easier to notice.
Heimerdinger is not made to support, he's made to push. He was born to mid lane. So why break the mold and send him to a place of darkness and uncertainty? Because at some point in a Yordle's life, he needs to be ready; prepared to accept the challenges of the unknown.
Seeing as we have received this super fancy blog feature, I decided to put it to good use! If you couldn't tell by the title of the blog, I'm going to be primarily posting about my hobby I love just as much as gaming, if not more.
My Taste in Anime
To avoid questions or you playing a guessing game. I suppose I'll explain what genres I actively watch and which I avoid. I was going to type out a list of the things I loved, but I figured it would just be easier to tell you the things I d
