  11. A new session has been posted in my sign-up thread!
  12. ...or why you're not being excluded, but protected. I'd like to discuss the concept of Closed Sessions. Up until now, there have been no restrictions on who may listen as a silent spectator to any of the Living D&D Sessions. This is going to change in some instances as there are already sessions up that are slated to be closed. The reasons behind this can be numerous, but it's generally to keep any story or surprises intact for when the sessions are run multiple times. First things first, you are not being excluded! You are not being prevented from listening to the session because you may be disruptive, or we don't trust you in a meta sense to not spoil things for your next party, or anything like that. What we are doing is crafting experiences for the players, and with that, sometimes we want the players to be able to be a part of these experiences untainted by previous knowledge. With puzzles, surprises, twists and moral quandaries, these events can be amazing if you don't know what's coming. So please, if you know a session is closed, or if it being run in a voice chat labelled closed, please do not just jump in, even to just say hi. Doing so will interrupt the session at hand while we wait for you to leave (or move you somewhere else so we can continue). On this vein, we also ask that any players who have already done content that is closed session keep that content under wraps until that session is no longer being ran. Then it may be spoken of freely. This is also to preserve the surprises and such of the content. We all appreciate your compliance with this as we move forward into a new age of Living D&D!

  14. Doodle is great, we use it for work. The only problem is after the 14 day trial it begins to cost money. I figured it wouldn't be that much of a hassle for everyone to spend a minute or two giving their general availability so the DMs can plan around it. With that, instead of having everyone fill out another poll every month or so they would only have to inform one of us if their availability changes.
  15. Hello All! We are attempting to compile everyone's overall availability to play, so we can use that to determine when the best times for us to run will be. If you can, please respond to this thread with your availability to join sessions (or times when you couldn't join at all, if that is easier for you). Please keep your times to EST as to make it easier for everyone involved. Thanks so much!
  17. The first of many sessions to come! Signup thread here:
  18. MadCast time is EST, so all times posted in any of the threads should be considered EST unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  19. I'd like to sign up for the 1st! level 5 artificer. I will defer for lower levels, of course.
  20. Who has actually asked for the Baths? I made a joke about Ogma needing them, but I was not serious at all. The soup kitchen could also be one of those "RP-Based" buildings that may not give us any crazy mechanical benefit so it doesn't cost any room points. Not terrible, but I still think our first two room points after the first 6 should be the portal conflux room from the additional structures book I linked with the main one. It will allow us quick transportation around the world to deal with anything that may not be in our immediate vicinity. It will also allow Interloper's inc. to maintain a presence in various cities around the world, which I believe is a great way to get new hooks from far away lands! which means more money, which means more easily building new rooms!
  21. I will be using this thread to collect signups for my personal LD&D sessions. NEXT SESSION: Wednesday, March 25th @ 10:30PM Content: Dungeon Crawl (CLOSED SESSION) A miner problem. Interloper's Inc. has been contacted by local mining concern Quarry Query Mining Group. It seems while attempting to open a new branch off of an existing tunnel, a huge man made chamber was found with a large stone 'wall' covered in text, speaking about finding a key. No one employed by the mining company has the knowledge or expertise to proceed further into this man made structure and has decided to contract some outside help. CloudsHusband CloudsHusbandsWife Stan (Tentative) horsedolphin3 StargazerLilli Support Welfare UPCOMING SESSIONS: TBD Please allow players who have not experienced this particular content to sign up. The players who have not yet been through this session are: @MadCast: Cloud, @MadCast: Kal, @MadCast: Stan, @MadCast: Suixide22, @MadCast: Icarus, @MadCast: VoShay, @MadCast: StargazerLilli, @MadCast: Support Welfare, @Flapjack, @CloudsHusband, @horsedolphin3 In your signup, please indicate the date you are signing up for, and include your character name and class/level. Please also keep in mind that the MadCast CoC will be fully enforced at these and all LD&D sessions. Please also speak up if you haven't played in a while, feel you are falling behind, or have any other concerns and they will be addressed. I ask that everyone, in the spirit of community, be ready to delay a signup if someone with a restrictive RL schedule has a rare opportunity to play. Please PM on the forums or Discord with any questions, so we can keep this thread a clean record of signups.
  22. First off, the baths thing was a joke I said about Ogma, and wasn't serious. Secondly, discussion was had and approval has been given for the ability to build some of these 'rooms' in an RP sense, without having to spend the room point, but without getting the mechanical benefits from the book. For example, the tavern/dining hall, etc. With that in mind, with the list that chibi posted, if we replaced baths with either the training ground (which will probably need to be 'rebuilt' at some point as well since that is going to be more expansive than just what the book says) or the library and we'd have a pretty solid foundation.
