  1. Came across this video on YouTube and thought it sounded like fun so 2 days later here it is! A modified Wine rack that I had so much fun building. The original YouTube video - Then here is my take on the rack - Front View - https://imgur.com/SnrsMpq Side View - https://imgur.com/zFe7JZL I love building stuff with wood and I'm getting new tools every project. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for my next project let me know!
  2. @MadCast: Dez Don't ever remember her using any sort of potato but I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. And yup, totally a midwest sort of thing. lol @MadCast: Mike I'd imagine it would work just fine. This is the sort of recipe that you get from older people. My grandma has given out this recipe to multiple people and none of them were the same recipe. I'm pretty sure she just threw whatever she had in her cupboards into a dish and called it good. Would make sense as she had 7 kids all a year or two of each other so it really did come down to if its edible you are going to eat it! I do really love this dish though. Its pretty hard to screw it up as its really simple. 😃
  3. So I finally got a chance to visit family this year as I didn't go home last year for Christmas. While I was there I got some old family recipes and thought it would be cool to shave one or two and see if you guys had some you'd like to share as well. This recipe is something my grandmother made for the family get togethers (x-mas, thanksgiving, etc.) and really makes me think of my childhood. Give it a try and let me know what you think! Do keep in mind its a pretty big dish. Murphy's Hot Dish - 2 lbs. Hamburger 1 Onion 1 Stalk of celery 2 Cans cream of celery 2 Cans cream of mushroom 2 Cans cream of chicken 1/4 Cup of soy sauce (I like to add more for flavor) 2 Cups of water Mix everything together well in a large, oven safe dish/pan, cover with foil and cook at 350 for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour. There really isn't too much to it but its something that I grew up loving and wanted to share. Hope you enjoyed your holidays everyone!
  4. I'd love to be a part of this. My only experience is with the Living D&D we ran in MadCast (about 9-11 sessions total?). I have watched a few of your sessions in Foundry VTT here and there as well. I do have a very important question though. What times and days would you be looking at for the sessions or would that be pretty open depending on the players that sign up?
  5. @MadCast: JigglesTheFett Thanks for the nomination good sir!
  6. All dice trays have been dropped off at FedEx and will be shipped out on Monday! I'm excited to hear what you all think of your dice trays when you get them. Munsa has already told me that his wife plans on taking a bunch of pictures so be prepared friends! I have PM'd all of you with the tracking numbers so you will be able to track them once they hit the delivery stage! Enjoy everyone.
  7. Just purchased the game. Looking forward to trying it out. I've never played Balder's Gate before.
  8. Updated the original post to reflect which Dice Trays people have chosen. At this point I will need to get a hold of @MadCast: Munsa , @MadCast: VoShay , and @MadCast: Khaos to get their choices. As they were unable to make it to Town Hall for one reason or another I will give priority choice to whoever contacts me with their choice. If its something that has been chosen already I will let you know and have you choose another one. Thank you again everyone for all the work you put into Living D&D and the continued work you put into the community.
  9. Assuming that the next Town Hall will be on the 5th of October, I'd like to have each of the recipients of the dice trays join me in a channel after Town Hall so I can get the required information to send them out and figure out who is going to be getting what one. If you are unable to make Town Hall or unable to stick around until the end of Town Hall please let me know and we will figure out something. In true D&D fashion I figured we would roll initiative to see what order people get to choose what one they would like. @MadCast: Munsa @MadCast: VoShay @MadCast: JigglesTheFett @MadCast: Khaos @MadCast: The Prince @MadCast: Kal
  10. Greetings everyone! Today marks the completion of my last dice tray for our wonderful Living D&D DMs! The last tray I made has a bit more eyeball work in it as I ran into some difficulties when working with the odd angles and such but it was a ton of fun to build. Stain - Black Cherry Wood - Pine Base - Black Satin Lining Dimensions - 16" x 13"x 1 1/2" Dice used to show off the tray - Light Transparent Blue/Green https://imgur.com/o16bpe2 https://imgur.com/38dCkdK https://imgur.com/JQcuIZO With the completion of the 6 dice trays I set out to make, I will be setting up a time in Discord where we can all get together and figure out who will be getting which one as well as shipping details. I'm sorry for such a long delay getting you guys these trays. I will also be sending a special gift along with each of the trays that will remain a surprise until everyone receives their dice tray. I want to thank each and every one of our DMs that participated in running sessions during MadCast's Living D&D games as well as those of you who have expressed interest in becoming DMs after the event. Lets not forget about all the wonderful players new and old, to D&D that played as well. You guys are awesome! @MadCast: Munsa @MadCast: VoShay @MadCast: JigglesTheFett @MadCast: The Prince @MadCast: Kal @MadCast: Khaos @Starlight
  11. Absolutely! That and this way I can claim all my mistakes are just happy little accidents of which there are a lot of. lol. 😃 I really am enjoying making these a lot. Me and my friend already have our next project planned out for next year too. We are going to make a canoe and I can only see it going 1 of 2 ways. Either it will resemble a boat and float or it turns into a big pile of fire wood. >.<
  12. Totally winging it. That's also why none are the same size and I use various wood.
  13. So quick addition to one of the dice trays. I added some vintage looking brass feet to the smaller Honey stained Dice Tray to add a little to it just for fun. They look really good too! https://imgur.com/Hbk2JN3
  14. @MadCast: Starlight I appreciate the words of encouragement! I have 1 more to make before I can start rounding people up to figure out who is getting what ones. Its almost time guys! Sorry for the long wait.
  15. I finished Dice Trays #3 #4 and #5! Been putting in some work. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out even if they are very simple. Hope you guys like them.
