  1. I hate that I only get to pick 1. Milk is situational! You need regular milk for dipping most cookies, but just milk by itself is gonna have to be a chocolate.
  2. Tension: 2 Calm Wind, Flat Ground, Road Reveal: Raifu is from Tokushima. Action: Stare Roll: 10. Your opponent reveals something about their character. You may also choose to Forfeit, ending the duel. Raifu declines the treat. "Where I come from, to eat right before a battle is ill omen. Why then?" He thrusts his chin toward her. "If you trained with Mitsurugi-sama, why do you devote yourself to the Batosi?" Tension: 2 Calm Wind, Flat Ground, Road
  3. Tension: 1 Calm Wind, Flat Ground, Road Action: Stare Roll: 13: Your opponent reveals something about their character. You may also choose to Forfeit, ending the duel. Raifu assesses his opponent, even her blade remains sheathed. Is she arrogant? Or is it a ploy? The Batosi have always smacked of arrogance, but his sensei, Mitsurugi Takeno had taught him to beware the undercurrents of cunning. Best to gain more information. "Always. Though I suspect Fate's hand has only given us a gentle nudge toward one another, while your sensei shoves hard." Tension: 1 Calm Wind, Flat Ground, Road
  4. Whispers in the dark Wind rises through petals soft Winding over steps Negumi Raifu stands at a bend in the road about a mile from the Red Dragon Inn, the blade of his family odachi drawn in acceptance of challenge. Moonlight passes through black bark and pink flower to light the path below, a rare clear night that invigorates the senses. The she-warrior, Himura Kyoko, approaches. She's wounded, and yet eager to fight. There's a spring in her step that belies her raw strength. Not one to be underestimated. Raifu calls out in an even tone, his voice cutting through the calm wind over the flat paving stones, "Hail, Himura-san. You seek glory for your master, the Daimyo?"
  5. Petals drift on threads Seasons pass, water and wind Time waits for no one Raifu steps over the threshold into the inn, a once familiar place now alien after years on the open water. He relishes the fleeting moment where cool night air at his back meets the inviting warmth of food and flesh before him. The clatter of plates and glasses and bottles provides a staccato contrast to the constant stream of chatter between guests. Warriors, priests, con artists, day laborers and all manner of strange and common folk simmer together for tonight, though they may be at odds come the morning. At least for now, it is home. A twitchy she-warrior throws him a dark glance, Raifu pretends not to notice and makes his way to the table where he's expected. @MadCast: VoShay "Mitsurugi-sama, I have returned according to your instruction. This place feels smaller, though you loom larger within since my last visit. The leviathan hunters wish you well, they bade me farewell with a strong wind."
  6. rife170: Negumi Raifu Clan: Hokuten Eyes: Cold Look: Manicured Sword: Long Style: Technical Raifu is a ranking officer under Mitsurugi Takeno, of the Hokuten. Second son of a once powerful noble family, his quiet style of command has sent him up the ranks as the Hokuten operate in the shadows. The time has come for the young Negumi to step into the light, and play his part in the rise of the Shogun.
  7. What is dead may never die. (including this thread) Join me, friends. http://poolofdragons.com/groups/invite/5ffd3670-c705-4ac9-af09-364290bd4108
  8. Also, if you have specific times you want to do this, post in this thread. (Friday night, Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon etc.) I'll be around for most of the weekend, but certainly not all day/night. Add me on bnet (see under my picture) if we're not friends already.
  9. Hey everyone, I'm inviting all of you to join me this weekend for the PvE Halloween event in Overwatch. It's a lot of fun, and even occasional/novice players can beat Expert difficulty. Legendary is a different beast, but if we can tackle it I totally want to go for it. The game mode is similar to horde-mode in Gears of War. Tons of awesome halloween skins drop only for this event, so don't miss out!
  10. No way I can do this on a Wednesday night, I'd have to call out the next day for sure. Would the 21st or the 22nd work? (I always endeavor to play by the proper rules of course. Is there an intermission for pee break? I have a feeling it will be needed to make room for more beer)
  11. I'm down for this. Now, my definition of 'drink' for this type of game is a large swallow/gulp of beer. If we drink on all of these like that, there will be alcohol poisoning lol. Should we roll dice to see which of these we're going to do, or take turns on the drinking with all rules? Alternatively, we could just take out some of the more ridiculous ones, like 34. (That's 40 drinks all by itself) Either way, @MadCast: majorhoward you should definitely be calling for the drinks each time we hit one of the rules lol.
